Courtney Mackrell is a Project Designer at Team LINEA, contributing to both interior architecture and project documentation while actively developing her expertise in building science and construction.

She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Marywood University, where her graduate work focused on adaptive reuse and urban environments—shaping her interest in how existing structures can be reimagined with purpose and clarity.

Prior to joining Team LINEA, Courtney worked as a furniture designer in the residential furnishings industry, building a strong foundation in materiality, craftsmanship, and human-scale design. This experience informs her attention to detail and understanding of how design decisions translate into real-world fabrication.

At Team LINEA, Courtney is part of a hands-on, collaborative environment where team members are exposed to architecture, construction, and building forensics simultaneously. She supports project teams across design development and documentation while gaining direct insight into how buildings are assembled—and how they perform over time.
