We won't tell it to his face, but in we credit Toby with beauty and simplicity of "Building Knowledge"
Toby is credited with speaking "we are Building Knowledge" into reality.
He is instrumental in helping Steven and Elizabeth grow Team LINEA into the multi-disciplined team it is today. Steven would say he was the "missing link" (caveman analogy intended).
Toby's joined the team as Steven's first partner in 2025, bringing a field-driven perspective that anchors the firm’s work in constructability, performance, and execution.
As President and leader of field operations, Toby is the integrator—connecting design intent with what actually happens on site. He has managed thousands of projects across residential, commercial, and high-rise environments, with deep expertise in building envelope systems, forensic investigations, and large-scale remediation efforts.
Toby’s strength lies in his ability to operate in both the job site and the boardroom. He works directly with developers, attorneys, HOAs, and ownership groups to diagnose failures, develop scopes of work, and guide complex repair strategies—often in high-risk or litigation-driven environments.
He is also a key driver of business development, helping expand Team LINEA’s reach while maintaining a clear focus on practical, defensible solutions. Where others theorize, Toby executes—ensuring projects move forward with clarity, accountability, and measurable results.
He is the living embodiment of "Building Knowledge"
